Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice
ExusCraft respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on ExusCraft infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL
- Your contact information (address, phone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may file a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
Repeat Infringers
ExusCraft will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We maintain records of DMCA notices and will take action against users who repeatedly upload infringing content.
Good Faith
Please note that misrepresentation of material as infringing can result in liability for damages. If you are unsure whether content infringes your copyright, please consult with an attorney before filing a notice.
Mod-Specific Guidelines
For game modifications specifically:
- Mods that use assets from games without permission may be subject to takedown
- Original mods created by users are protected by copyright
- Re-uploading others' mods without permission is not allowed
- We encourage creators to clearly license their work
